Laura Kilmartin is an accomplished compliance and governance professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as AVP of US Compliance at Sun Life since October 2024, Kilmartin previously held various leadership roles at Unum from April 2005 to November 2024, including AVP of Digital Platforms Governance and AVP of Quality Assurance, Policy, Procedures & Communications. Kilmartin's expertise encompasses risk management, operational governance, and quality assurance across a range of benefit products. Kilmartin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Michael's College.
