Esther N. Kimani is an accomplished professional in the finance and compliance sector, currently serving as an AML/ATF Financial Crimes & Compliance specialist at Sun Life since January 2023. As a co-founder of Twiva since February 2020, Esther has demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. Previously, Esther held various roles at CIBC from April 2019 to January 2023, including Senior AML Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist in the Financial Intelligence Unit. Esther's earlier experience includes positions at the University of Toronto as an Assistant to the Registrar and Program Mentor, as well as internships at Equity Bank Limited and Equity Group Foundation. Esther holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Siena, Italy.
