Ralph Holzapfel currently serves as the Head of Global Operational Controlling for the Color Materials Division at Sun Chemical since July 2021, where key responsibilities include driving the integration of the former BASF Pigments business and optimizing financial performance. Prior to this role, Ralph Holzapfel was with BASF Colors & Effects from 2013 to July 2021, serving as the Head of Global Controlling, where contributions involved managing financials for a global business, creating a global team, establishing a Sales Incentive Program, and leading the financial aspects of a divestment process. Ralph Holzapfel also held the position of Head of Strategic Business Development & Marketing for BASF Hygiene in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on innovative polymer development and marketing initiatives. Earlier career experience includes leadership in business unit controlling at BASF Home Care & Formulation Technologies Europe from September 2007 to March 2013.
