Nicolas Betin has an extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Nicolas began their career at Shell in 1990, where they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for eight years. Nicolas then joined AkzoNobel as a Regional Sales Director from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, Betin moved to Rohm and Haas as the Marketing Manager for Europe. Nicolas then worked at GE Plastics as the General Manager for France from 2005 to 2007. Nicolas joined ALCAN Packaging in 2007 as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe. Betin's most recent role was at Sun Chemical, where they held various positions including Business Manager from 2009 to 2011, SBU Managing Director for France-Benelux from 2011 to 2019, and Director of Product Strategy EMEA & Global Sustainability Business Leader from 2019 onwards.

Nicolas Betin pursued their education at ESSEC Business School from 1989 to 1990, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing & Business Administration. Prior to that, they attended Ecole supérieure de Chimie organique et minérale from 1984 to 1987, earning an Ingenieur - Master of Science degree with a focus on Chemistry.
