Joel Gustafson has extensive experience in tax and consulting roles. Joel is currently serving as the Vice President of Tax at Summit Carbon Solutions, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NGL Energy Partners LP for 7 years, starting as a Director of Tax from March 2014 to August 2015, and later becoming the Vice President of Tax until September 2022. Before joining NGL Energy Partners LP, they worked at Hein & Associates as a Tax Manager from September 2008 to February 2014. Joel began their career as an Audit Intern/Staff at Blain L Christianson & Associates from December 2006 to July 2007.

Joel Gustafson pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead, completing their education from 2004 to 2007. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Taxation from the University of Denver, which they attended from 2007 to 2008.
