Andrea Schlueter Donohue has extensive work experience as a technical designer and product developer in the fashion industry. Andrea most recently served as the Senior Manager of Technical Design & Patternmaking at Summersalt starting in April 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Technical Design & Patternmaking at Summersalt from September 2022 to April 2023. Andrea also worked as a Senior Technical Designer at Summersalt from June 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Summersalt, Andrea worked at Soft Surroundings as a Senior Technical Designer from February 2019 to June 2021. Prior to Soft Surroundings, they held the position of Senior Technical Designer/Product Developer at Stars Design Group from October 2016 to February 2019. Andrea began their fashion career at Build-A-Bear Workshop as a Product Developer from May 2014 to October 2016.

Andrea also has a longstanding history with Soft Surroundings, where they held various technical design roles. Andrea served as the Senior Technical Designer for Pants/Coats/Jackets/Dresses from May 2012 to May 2014. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Designer for Sweaters/Knit Tops from July 2008 to May 2012, and earlier in their career, as a Technical Designer for Sweaters/Skirts/Shoes/Accessories from May 2004 to July 2008.

Andrea Schlueter Donohue completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Textile & Apparel Management with an emphasis in Manufacturing at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2001 to 2004.
