Aleksey M. has worked in the technology field since 2006. Aleksey started as a software engineer at Joint-Stock Company PELENG, where they developed image processing software and designed FPGA with VHDL/Verilog. In 2009, they moved to the United Institute of Informatics Problems as a Senior Researcher, where they developed information retrieval and text mining algorithms, as well as software for indexing, retrieval, and summarization of text documents. In 2012, they became a Senior Researcher at EffectiveSoft, Ltd., where they developed text mining and sentiment analysis algorithms and did software engineering and computational lingustics. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer of SummarizeBot, where they are researching and developing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing.
Aleksey M. began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Belarusian State University and earned a Specialist degree in Radiophysics and Electronics in 2008. Aleksey then enrolled in Researchers training institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Natural language text analysis and Applied Mathematics in 2009. In 2010, Aleksey M. pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer science and Information retrieval at United Institute of Informatics Problems and completed it in 2011.
