Amy DeSylvester is an experienced educator with a strong background in physical education and yoga instruction. Since March 2015, Amy has served as a Yoga Instructor at Sumits Hot Yoga and has also been a Physical Education Teacher at Ampitheater Public Schools since August 2014. Previously, Amy worked as an Instructional Assistant at Grand Canyon University from September 2015 to April 2018 and as a Yoga Instructor at Sumits Yoga from February 2009 to September 2014. In addition, Amy was a Full-Time Online Faculty member at Grand Canyon University from April 2013 to July 2014, where responsibilities included instructing adult learners in various educational courses and providing support for students' success. Earlier teaching roles include serving as a Physical Education Teacher at Mesa Public Schools and Gilbert Public Schools. Amy holds a Master's degree in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, both from Arizona State University, along with business-related minors.
