Ziad Assaad possesses extensive experience in engineering and project management within the tire and rubber industry. Currently serving as GM of Engineering & OT at Sumitomo Rubber USA, Ziad has previously held positions including Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Industrial Engineering Manager. Prior roles at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company included Continuous Improvement Manager, Project Manager, and Electrical Engineer. Ziad also has experience as a Quality Engineer at Zeller Electric (Motion AI) and as a Project Manager at Akeed I. Educational qualifications include a combined BS/MS in Electrical Engineering and Supply Chains from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
