Tony Blackwell has over 30 years of experience in the technology sector, specializing in application engineering and product development. Currently serving as Manager of Application Engineering at Sumitomo Electric Lightwave since April 2008, Tony has previously held the position of Sr. Application Engineer within the same company. Tony's career also includes roles as a Billing System Developer at CenturyLink from August 2005 to March 2008, and as a Sr. Product Development Technician at Kayser-Roth Corporation from April 1993 to August 2005. Tony holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from American InterContinental University, obtained between 2003 and 2005, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Programming from Alamance Community College, completed from 1981 to 1983.
