Norman Botha has extensive experience in project management and engineering, primarily within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Field Service Manager and Senior Project Manager at Sulzer since September 2007, Norman leads the manufacturing of pump skids and auxiliary equipment, overseeing critical components such as pumps and steam turbine drivers. Previous roles include Partnering, Contracts & Project Manager, where responsibility included managing maintenance for key power supply accounts across multiple coal-fired power stations, and Project Manager roles focusing on extensive projects like boiler feed and condensate extraction pumps for Kusile Power Station. Prior experience includes positions at Weir Minerals, Sulzer, GB Bearings, and John Thompson, emphasizing sales, tendering, and project management. Norman holds an Advanced Project Management qualification from the University of South Africa and an ND in Mechanical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
