Marcelo then moved to Ingersoll Dresser Pump as a Quality Supervisor, overseeing quality control, assurance, and performance testing. At Flowserve Corporation, Marcelo held multiple positions, including Logistics Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager, and Director. In these roles, they managed business units, implemented ERP systems, and introduced new product lines. Currently, Marcelo works for Sulzer as the President of South America Services and Managing Director of Brazil. Marcelo Alves holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Metallurgical from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, which they obtained from 1985 to 1993. Marcelo later pursued an MBA in Business Administration from the same university, completing it in 2000.
