Ola Stål has been working in the business industry since 2003. In 2003, they began as an Assistant Customer Service Manager at FixTelecom. In 2009, they started their own consultancy company, OS Konsult, while studying at Handelshögsskolan i Göteborg. Ola also worked as an Operations Manager at Repiper AB, and as a Team Manager at Weedo. In 2015, they became Production & Customer Relations Manager at Sustainability Circle. In 2017, they worked as a Business Advisor, Change Agent, and Owner at Stål & Co, and as a Strategic Advisor at Handelshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet. In 2018, they became Founder & CEO of Substly. In 2019, they began working as a Business Advisor at Business Region Göteborg.

Ola Stål began their educational journey in 2005, when they attended Universidad de Málaga to study Spanish. From 2006 to 2010, they attended University of Gothenburg, where they earned their Master in Business Administration. During this time, they also attended Matix - Management av Tillväxt, where they earned their MBA in 2010. In 2008, they attended Universitat de Barcelona to study Business Administration. In addition, Ola Stål has obtained certifications from HubSpot Academy, including Inbound, SEO, and Inbound Marketing, in November 2022, January 2023, and November 2022 respectively.
