Shabnaz Wali is a skilled legal professional and writer with a diverse background in law and human rights. Currently an Associate at the Legal Aid Society in Pakistan since November 2022, Shabnaz also contributes as a writer on Substack, focusing on weekly book reviews, and on Medium, exploring topics such as geo-political changes and environmental justice. Experience as a Freelance Legal Writer and Researcher on Fiverr includes drafting legal documents and advising companies on various legal matters. Previous research work at ImpACT International involved investigating human rights violations, while earlier internships at Aziz Malik Associates and Ali & Associates provided hands-on experience in legal research and document preparation. Shabnaz holds a BA LLB (Hons) from SM LAW COLLEGE, has studied comparative public policy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and has an intermediate degree in Pre-Medicine from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School.
