Dima Dobrynin is an accomplished founder with extensive experience in software engineering and autonomous systems. Currently leading Staxel as Founder since March 2023 and contributing to a personal blog on Substack since March 2024, Dima previously participated as a Fellow in the On Deck Founders program from September 2022 to March 2023. At Yandex, Dima held the role of Head of Motion Planning Group for the Yandex Rover project, overseeing the Motion Planning team for an autonomous delivery robot, and served as a Senior Software Engineer in Yandex's Self-Driving Cars division, where motion planning software was developed. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at AIM High Tech, focusing on high-frequency trading software handling over 100 million events daily. Dima holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Yandex School of Data Analysis.
