Matthew Feid has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew started their career as an Operations/Event Management Graduate Assistant at the University of Connecticut - Athletics Department in 2003 and worked there until 2005. Matthew then joined the Boston College - Athletics Department as an Operations/Event Management Intern for a year. In 2006, they joined Sturdy Memorial Hospital and held various roles, including Senior Financial Analyst, Director of Patient Accounts, and currently as the Director of Revenue Cycle.

Matthew Feid earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Matthew studied at the university from 1998 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Kinesiology/Sport Management at the University of Connecticut from 2003 to 2005.
