Austin Edwards (he/him) is a Designer I in Studio Gang’s New York office. Originally trained as an aerospace engineer, Austin spent two periods as an intern at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. Coming from an engineering background, Austin was fascinated by how architecture addresses its comparably fluid boundary conditions. He was drawn to the Studio for its focus on making the most responsible choices for the client, environment, and the practice of architecture with each project. Austin in currently part of the team designing the O’Hare Global Terminal.
