Sarmistha Samantaray currently serves as the AVP of Engineering at Stryker since November 2024, following a role as Assistant Vice President of Engineering at care.ai from August 2023 to November 2024. Prior to these positions, Sarmistha was a Senior Director of Engineering at Amwell from May 2012 to July 2023, where responsibilities included the design and development of SaaS and integration solutions while managing global resources. Sarmistha's earlier experience includes serving as an Advisory Software Engineer at IBM from October 2006 to May 2012, focusing on requirement analysis and leading security initiatives, as well as a Lead Software Engineer at MRO Software and a Software Engineer at Ramco Systems. Sarmistha holds a Master's degree in Computer Application from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, completed in 1995.
