Joe Schmitz, PE, is an experienced Project Manager and Bridge Engineer with a career spanning over 19 years in the civil engineering field. Currently employed at American Structurepoint, Inc. since April 2019, Joe focuses on project management and bridge engineering. Prior to this role, Joe worked at OHM Advisors in a similar capacity from May 2015 to April 2019, and at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. as Manager of Structures from June 2014 to May 2015. Joe's engineering career began at Burgess & Niple, where Joe served as a Bridge Engineer from July 2004 to June 2014. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University, completed between 2001 and 2004.
