In addition to their current role, Ryan is an Angel Investor starting in 2023.
Prior to their current ventures, Ryan worked at 8x8 from 2015 to 2020. ★ Ryan held the position of Principal Product Architect, overseeing all customer-facing Analytics applications. ★ Ryan was responsible for the go-to-market (GTM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) of various analytics platforms, including Virtual Office Analytics and Quality Management. Ryan also served as the Sr. Director of Product and Strategy, Cloud QM, after 8x8 acquired Quality Software Corporation. ★ Ryan led the integration of QSC's analytics suite into 8x8 products and played a key role in scaling the development team.
Before joining 8x8, Ryan founded Quality Software Corporation in 2013 and served as the CEO. ★ Ryan successfully bootstrapped and commercialized the company, eventually selling it to 8x8. One of their notable achievements was designing Quality Rocket, a flagship speech analytics and quality management product, and launching several large-scale deployments within a short timeframe.
Ryan also has experience as the Founder and CTO of Applied Business Technologies, a value-added reseller of quality management solutions. ★ Ryan focused on sales and implementation targeting enterprise call centers. ★ Ryan successfully exited the company.
Early in their career, Ryan worked as a Network Operations Manager at Brady Corporation and as a Help Desk Specialist at Boehringer Ingelheim.
Ryan Morrissey began their education in 1989 and completed it in 2027. During this time, they pursued self-study and gained knowledge in various fields related to technology, earning a degree called "A little bit of everything." In addition to their formal education, Ryan obtained several certifications, including the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in 1999, the Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) from Novell in 1998, and the Amateur Radio Operator license from the Federal Communications Commission in 1990.
