Ross Cohen

Director, East Coast Sales at Strike Social

Ross Cohen has over a decade of experience in sales and media. Ross began their career in 2005 as a Sales Associate at Cox Television, where they were responsible for scheduling TV spots for major NY agencies at CBS, ABC, & NBC affiliates across the country. In 2006, they joined Quigo as an Account Executive, where they sold Sponsored Links for Premium Web Properties such as ESPN, Forbes, TIME, People, and CNN Money. Ross built their book-of-business from scratch to high seven figures, and was part of the company's rapid rise from no name recognition and negligible revenue to a major force in the space, culminating in its acquisition by AOL for $340 million. In 2008, Ross joined AOL Advertising as an Account Executive, where they built and managed an eight-figure book-of-business for the Sponsored Listings product, significantly exceeding goals. In 2010, they became the Director of Sales at CPX Interactive, where they spearheaded NY agency outreach for the fledgling brand sales team, driving seven-figure revenue growth of completely new business. In 2013, Ross joined YuMe as a Senior Account Executive, where they sold innovative digital video advertising solutions across 4 screens and increased territory revenue by 329% year over year. In 2015, they became the Sales Director, East at Opera Mediaworks, where they specialized in mobile, selling brand and app install on video, display, native, and programmatic. Ross generated millions in exclusively mobile revenue, primarily video, and closed major brands as new clients for Opera. In 2019, Ross founded Political Clarity, where they served as the Founder, Editor, and Writer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Strike Social as the Director, East Coast Sales and Account Executive, East Coast Sales.

Ross Cohen received a Bachelor's Degree in History & Political Science from the University of Delaware between 2001 and 2005. Ross has also obtained certifications as a COVID-19 Vaccinator from the New York State Department of Health, CPR & AED for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, and an Emergency Medical Technician from New York State.
