Matthew Portanova is an experienced professional in customer experience and operational leadership, currently serving as the Head of Customer Experience at Street Smarts VR, a position held since October 2022 where Matthew built the CX team and established post-sales processes. Prior experience includes roles at Mark43, where Matthew held several key positions including Vice President of Customer Experience, overseeing law enforcement accounts, and Vice President of Deployments, where a complete reorganization of the onboarding process was achieved. Earlier positions included Director of Customer Success at Mark43, where Matthew formed the Customer Success team, as well as roles at Dataminr, Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton, and the US Army. Matthew holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, an MS in International Relations from Troy University, and a BA in History from The George Washington University.
