Nir Amir has extensive experience in research and development within the fields of chemistry and materials science. Since April 2011, Nir Amir has been associated with Strauss Group Inc., focusing on Strauss Water. Prior to this, from December 2009 to December 2010, Nir Amir served as an R&D Chemist and associate project integrator at Hebrew University of Jerusalem/SAE Afikim, working on an industry-academia project for the dairy farming market, specifically developing a prototype machine for analyzing cow health using bio-electrochemical technology. Nir Amir was also an R&D team member at Elutex from February 2008 to April 2009, contributing to the development of a new drug coating technology for the Drug Eluting Stents (DES) market and is registered as an inventor on a related patent. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Material Science and Electrochemistry and a BSc in Chemistry and Material Science, both from Bar-Ilan University.
