Riza Carter, BNS, RN, is the Director of Clinical Technology and Practice Development of Empath Health’s Hospice Division. She has the clinical responsibility for all software applications and technology initiatives and is the clinical liaison to Program Directors, Compliance, Quality and Information Technology departments for all regulatory, electronic medical records and all other clinical applications. Riza joined Empath Health in 2019 and most recently was the clinical team manager of Suncoast Hospice’s Orange Team. She has 33 years of healthcare experience with 18 years of hospice experience and 12 years in hospice management. She earned her Bachelor in Science and Nursing and her Registered Nurse degree in the Philippines.
