Yevgeny Shnaidman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various domains of software development. Currently at Stratoscale since January 2014, Yevgeny focuses on Software Defined Storage, designing and developing a proprietary distributed block-storage and object-storage solution while adapting open-source technologies. Prior to Stratoscale, Yevgeny worked as a BSP/Linux kernel engineer at Compass EOS, handling driver implementations and kernel subsystem debugging. Yevgeny's earlier roles include serving as a senior software engineer at Discretix, where embedded security solutions were designed for ARM and PowerPC platforms, and developing a portable OS for cellular devices at IXI Mobile. Yevgeny began a career at Amdocs Israel Ltd, implementing network communication protocols in C/C++ for customer devices. Yevgeny holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
