Niklas Karlén has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Sales representative at Viasat Sverige. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Store Clerk at Coop Sverige. In 2017, they joined Länsförsäkringar as a Bank Employee, and then in 2018, they transitioned to EY as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services - Process Excellence team. At EY, they focused on providing process improvements, finance transformation, and internal control evaluation for companies. Currently, Niklas is working at Storytel as a Business Controller, a role they started in November 2021.

Niklas Karlén obtained a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics from Linnaeus University, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. Niklas also pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General at Eastern Illinois University from 2016 to 2017. In addition to their academic pursuits, Niklas earned a certification in Data Visualization from EY, which they obtained in December 2019.
