Ryan McGarvey has a long history of work experience in the software engineering field. Ryan began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at Vetronix Research Corporation. In 2009, they moved on to Clearwave Corporation, where they served as a Software Engineer and designed and implemented a replacement of a live system with thousands of users over a one year period. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kestrel - Boeing Defense, Space, and Security, where they were responsible for feature development for the main Analyst work station. In 2012, they joined Gust as a Software Engineer and acted as a technical lead on a team of 14 developers. In 2015, they became a Partner and Engineer at Def Method, where they were a full stack consultant. From 2016 to 2018, they held the role of CTO at Capital Pitch. Ryan then moved on to Greenhouse Software as a Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2020, and is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Peloton Interactive since 2020.

Ryan McGarvey attended Clemson University from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Computer Science.
