Alma Freeman is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on communications and media management. Currently serving as Communications Manager at StopWaste since May 2018, Alma has previously held the position of Senior Communications & Social Media Manager and Blog Manager & Editor at The Asia Foundation from February 2009 to May 2018. Alma’s career also includes roles as Communications Specialist/Magazine Editor at Emory University's Office of International Affairs and Communications Assistant & Staff Writer at the National Association of Theatre Owners. Alma Freeman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from The University of Georgia, earned between 1996 and 1999.
