Elinor Schoenfeld is a distinguished epidemiologist with extensive experience in cancer research and clinical trials management. Currently serving as Associate Vice Chair for Research at Stony Brook University since August 2020 and as a Research Professor at Stony Brook Medicine since 1988, Elinor holds roles such as Deputy Head Of Division and Course Director for Data Management and Informatics. Expertise encompasses breast and prostate cancer vision research, diabetes, community-based research, and biomedical informatics. Prior positions include Research Professor at Stony Brook University and Cancer Research Scientist at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Elinor earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology - Epidemiology and a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stony Brook University.
