Joseph K. Garrahan is a highly experienced Principal Animator at Stoic since July 2020, with a strong focus on combat animation. Previously, Joseph held roles at Naughty Dog as a Senior Animator, contributing to "The Last of Us Part II" and "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy." Additional experience includes character animation for Disney's "Dino Aventuras," a senior animator position at Iron Galaxy Studios on "Killer Instinct," and character animation for Crytek's "Ryse: Son of Rome." Joseph's early career featured roles at Sony Pictures Imageworks and Dygra Films. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Character Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has completed an Advanced Character Animation program at Animation Mentor. Notably, Joseph has also served as an Animation Professor and received an Emmy award for work on the short film "ProtoGojin goes to Atlantic College."
