Naomi Schaufele is a Full Stack Software Engineer at STN Video, specializing in the Publisher's Dashboard web application and backend systems for video player behavior and playlist algorithms since October 2021. Additionally, Naomi has served as an Independent Translator for Alive Y.K. since January 2013, providing translations and voice-over services in Japanese and English. Previous roles include Student Researcher at BC Cancer and Teaching Assistant at the University of Victoria, where Naomi instructed technical C programming labs. Earlier experience includes a Software Developer Co-op at BC Cancer, a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Victoria, a Software Developer position at SendtoNews, and a Bioinformatics Front-End Software Developer position at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Naomi holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Computer Science with a Software Engineering option from the University of Victoria.
