Steve Irwin currently serves as a Board Member at The Stimson Center, beginning in September 2023. Previously, Steve held the position of Partner at Oliver Wyman from November 2022 to September 2023, and served as President at Avascent from February 2007 to October 2022, demonstrating leadership that resulted in significant revenue growth. Before that, Steve was President of DFI Corporate Services from July 2005 to January 2007, achieving tripled revenues and enhanced operational capabilities. Steve’s experience also includes a tenure as Vice President at DFI International from 1992 to 2005, contributing to strategic assessments for various defense and government clients. Other roles include contributions as a Research Associate and Evaluator in notable organizations, supported by an M.A. in Security Studies & Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
