Malia K. Du Mont is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, policy, and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Nonresident Fellow at the Strategic Foresight Hub of The Stimson Center and as Vice President for Strategy and Policy at Bard College, Malia's roles encompass government affairs, external relations, program development, and strategic communications. Recognized with the Shelley Morgan Award for Leadership in May 2021, Malia also holds significant military experience as an Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Previous positions include Co-President and COO of Amur Equipment Finance, where Malia orchestrated a major restructuring, and multiple strategic roles in the Department of Defense, contributing to national security initiatives. Malia's educational background includes a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Bard College.
