Asena Leyla Johnson is currently serving as a Youth Fellow at The Stimson Center, focusing on research and policy analysis in areas such as Human Security and Global Economic Reform. Previously, Johnson held roles at the World Resources Institute as both an Event Coordinator and an Executive Office Project Coordinator, where coordination and implementation of strategic initiatives were key responsibilities. Experience also includes work as a Paralegal at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, an Advocacy Associate at Amnesty International USA, and a Legislative Assistant for the Maryland General Assembly. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Global Governance from the American University School of International Service, alongside Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government from Salisbury University and Art History and Architecture from Catholic University of Paris.
