Kira Benton is a skilled legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Still Kira Rises, Tulsa, since September 2021, after completing a legal internship with the same organization from June 2020 to April 2021. Prior experience includes a summer legal internship at the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights Monitor, where Kira engaged in research, writing, and advocacy for international litigation concerning the Middle East and North Africa. Kira's background also encompasses roles in election oversight as Associate Supervisor of Elections at the University of South Florida Student Government and administrative support as a File Clerk at Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P.A. Kira holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Economics from the University of South Florida.
