Fatima Burhan Mohamed is an accomplished Advocacy and Research Officer at Still I Rise since April 2022, focusing on EU policy developments and supporting vulnerable children through collaborative advocacy strategies. Previous roles include serving as an EU Research and Advocacy Assistant at the International Crisis Group, where Fatima monitored EU foreign policy and supported policymaking processes, and as a Special Advisor at the Voice of Ezidis, advocating for asylum seekers' rights. Additional experience encompasses research and administrative support at Human Rights Watch, project management with the European Grassroots Antiracist Movement, and engagement in various projects promoting social integration during tenures at Movimento Cristiano Lavoratori and ASCS. Fatima holds master’s degrees in Peace Studies from Université Paris Dauphine and Università di Pisa, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences for Globalization from Università degli Studi di Milano.
