Wonu Veys is a Barbro Klein Fellow at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study since January 2022. Veys has served as Curator of Oceania at Stichting Nationaal Museum van Wereldculturen since September 2009 and held the position of boursière at Musée du quai Branly in 2007-2008. Previous roles include Research Fellow at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from September 2006 to December 2007 and Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology from January 2006 to August 2006. Wonu Veys holds a PhD from the University of East Anglia (2001-2005), an MA in Advanced Studies in the Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas from the University of East Anglia (2000-2001), and an MA in Kunstwetenschappen from Ghent University (1996-2000).
