Jonathan Buck is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Java and cloud-native technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Software Technology Group since October 2024, Jonathan has previously held significant roles such as Vice President of Software Engineering at Neovest, where the focus was on modernizing legacy Java applications within an Order Management System. Jonathan's experience includes developing and maintaining cloud-native microservices at Alianza, Inc., conducting load testing for the Utah Department of Workforce Services, and executing AWS deployments of Scala projects for OptConnect. A strong background in agile practices and technical debt reduction has been cultivated through roles at Ancestry, Utah Interactive, and USANA Health Sciences. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in IT from Western Governors University.
