Tendai Chavarika has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tendai started as an Operations Manager at Datronics Distribution in 1999 and then moved on to become a Customer Manager at British Gas from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, Tendai became a Founding Partner at Facelift Projects, where they worked until 2013. Tendai then joined Econet Wireless Zimbabwe as a Customer Experience Manager, a role they held until 2016. Currently, Tendai is the Head of Customer Experience at Steward Bank, a position they have been in since May 2016.
Tendai Chavarika obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Management Information Systems from Rhodes University, which was completed from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1995, Tendai attended Peterhouse and earned an A level qualification, with the specific field of study unspecified. In addition to their formal education, Tendai has obtained additional certifications including the Zendesk Customer Service Professional Certificate from Zendesk in September 2023 and the Leading with Emotional Intelligence certification from LinkedIn in July 2018.
