Hala ElAarag has held a prominent academic position at Stetson University since August 2002, serving as both Associate Professor and Professor, focusing on teaching and research in computer science. Previously, Hala ElAarag contributed to the field through leadership roles, including co-General Chair of the Communications and Networking Simulation Symposium from 2015 to 2019, and as President of the Consortium of Computing Sciences in Colleges from August 2014 to July 2018, where strategies for future goals were developed. Hala ElAarag also served as Vice President of the Consortium, responsible for recording meeting documentation. Academically, Hala ElAarag earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida (1996-2001), a Master's degree from Alexandria University (1989-1991), and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution (1984-1989).
