Stewart Mitchell has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Stewart is currently the EVP & Site Head at Sterling Pharma Solutions since May 2021. Previously, they worked as the Tier 2 and MMIC Project Manager at CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub from August 2015 to May 2021. In 2014, Stewart served as the Interim Business Development Manager at the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC). Before that, they were the Site and Operations Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific from June 2011 to July 2013. Stewart has also held roles as the Site Lead at Piramal Pharma Solutions, Site Manufacturing Manager at Shasun Pharma Solutions, Operations Manager at Phoenix Chemicals UK Limited, Site Operations Manager and Senior Process Manager at Rhodia Pharma Solutions, and Technical Supervisor at Abbott Laboratories.

Stewart Mitchell obtained a BSc Hons degree in Chemistry with Business Studies from Dundee Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1986 to 1991. Stewart further pursued their education at Abertay University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry.
