Patrick Harders has been in the lighting industry since 2001. Patrick began their career as the Owner/President of Outdoor Lighting, where they worked with clients to provide architectural and landscape lighting for residential and commercial settings. In 2011, they became the Co-Founder and President of International Operations of Sterling Lighting, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Enlightened Lighting and Sterling Lighting. In 2012, they became the President & Owner of Enlightened Lighting.

Patrick Harders attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a BS/BA in Finance.
