Mark Sturgeon

Instrument Calibration Engineer at Sterling Engineering

Mark Sturgeon has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Mark started their career in 1999 as a Field Tech Engineer at Venture Technology Groups, Inc. Mark then worked as an Instrument Technician at Pfizer from 2001 to 2007. Following that, they joined Entergy in 2007 and held positions as an I&C Technician and later as an I&C/Electrical Procedure Writer until 2022. From 2022 onwards, they worked as an Outage Electrical/I&C Planner at BHI Energy and currently holds the position of an Instrument Calibration Engineer at Sterling Engineering.

Mark Sturgeon obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electrical Technology with an Automation Emphasis from Lansing Community College. Mark attended this college from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they studied Business Studies with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management at Olivet Nazarene University from 1977 to 1979. In addition to their degrees, Mark Sturgeon also obtained a Procedure Writer Certification from the Procedure Professionals Association in June 2014.
