Msc. Ireen van der Heijden has extensive experience in supporting unaccompanied minor asylum seekers, currently serving as a Mentor AMV at Sterk Huis since October 2014. Previous roles include volunteer project leader for Lumens Groep, AMV reception worker at the Centraal Orgaan Asielzoekers, and authoring a scientific article at Universiteit Utrecht in collaboration with notable professors. Ireen has also contributed as an intern in various organizations, developing programs and providing educational support, particularly for vulnerable youth and families. Ireen holds multiple degrees from Utrecht University, including a Master of Science in Social Pedagogical Issues, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Social Pedagogical Assistance from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven.
