Jason Ment is a highly experienced professional in the private markets sector, currently serving as President and Co-COO at StepStone Group since October 2010, where responsibilities include leading global operations and overseeing multiple teams within the firm, which manages $138 billion in assets under management. Prior roles include Partner and General Counsel at StepStone Group, where Jason managed legal and compliance functions and led strategic acquisitions. Previous experience encompasses various general counsel positions at Citi, focusing on private equity and sustainable development investments, as well as associate roles in mergers and acquisitions at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and McDermott Will & Emery. Jason holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Consumer Economics from Cornell University.
