Abigail is a trainee solicitor undertaking her second seat in the Family team. She assists in a variety of tasks across financial and divorce proceedings as well as in matters concerning children. Abigail joined Stephens Scown in 2021.
Abigail has a first-class degree in International Relations and Anthropology from The University of Exeter. She completed her GDL and LPC with distinction from The University of Law. She also has a LLM in International Refugee Law from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
Abigail has extensive experience in the charity sector including working to support Litigants in Person and representing themselves in The Royal Courts of Justice and Central Family Court.
She is the co-founder of the Young Animal Lawyers Network, based at The UK Centre for Animal Law. She is also a member of Lawyers for Nature.
Outside of work Abigail enjoys running, yoga, swimming, and generally being outdoors.
