Steve received his Bachelors of Science in Biology as well as Biochemistry from Vanguard University of Southern California in 2015. During his attendance, Steve’s research focused on plant biochemistry that was intended to monitor environmental health across a mega transect of the Pacific Crest Trail by focusing on toxic metal accumulation in soil that influenced the production of key secondary metabolites expressed in various plant species. Prior to joining Stemson, Steve worked as an R&D scientist for MilliporeSigma and FujiFIlm Irvine Scientific where his skills in immunology and cell-based therapies were honed becoming well versed in areas of stem cell, T cell, and B cell biology, assay development, and the production and validation of antibodies. During those roles, he gained experience in production and manufacturing as well as served on a variety of committees to generate good biosafety, environmental health, and laboratory practices for his teams. Steve is excited to bring his dynamic range of skills to Stemson Therapeutics in their goal to cure hair loss.
