Tia Sojonky is a Senior Bioprocess Engineer at STEMCELL Technologies, specializing in laboratory automation and programming of liquid handling robots, with a strong focus on high throughput experiments and innovative data analysis methods. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Senior Research Technologist in Bioengineering at the University of Victoria, where Tia contributed to academic research in neural tissue engineering and provided technical support as a Computer Help Desk Analyst. Tia has also completed a co-op position in BioEngineering at STEMCELL Technologies, where automated methods for 3D cell cultures were developed. Tia holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Distinction in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
