Leon Chew is a Senior Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies, where the role involves enabling researchers to study human brain development and disease since June 2014. Prior to this position, Leon Chew worked at The University of British Columbia in various capacities, including Scientist and Senior Research Associate, focusing on the molecular basis of autophagy using Structural Biology and related fields from May 2010 to June 2014. Leon Chew holds an MSc in Biochemistry and a BSc (Honours) with CO-OP in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia. Notable awards include the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship and several travel awards in 2014, as well as recognition for research presentations.
