Amanda Flies has extensive experience in scientific support and education, currently serving as Manager of Scientific Support Operations at STEMCELL Technologies since May 2017, following roles as Senior Scientific Support Specialist and Product and Scientific Support Specialist. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Support Scientist at Cell Sciences, Inc., and as an Adjunct Faculty at multiple institutions, including Mount Ida College and Pine Manor College, where Amanda organized and instructed microbiology courses. Amanda held postdoctoral researcher positions at prominent institutions such as the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Boston University, focusing on T cell regulation and immunization strategies. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Immunology from Boston University School of Medicine and a BS in Biology and French from the University of Michigan.
